Sustainability
Sustainability is a challenge across the beauty industry — and even more so for small businesses, where cost, access, and feasibility can make it harder to implement.
Still, we’re proud to have built our brand with sustainability in mind from the very beginning. From sourcing to packaging, every decision reflects our commitment to doing better.
Explore the steps we’re taking below.
Sustainability Approach
Sourcing
Natural doesn’t always mean sustainable.
Even plant-derived materials can have a negative environmental impact depending on how they’re harvested, processed, or disposed of. That’s why we formulate with intention, prioritizing ingredients that are both effective and environmentally responsible.
Whenever possible, we choose materials that are sustainable, biodegradable, and thoughtfully sourced.
Packaging
Plastic is often cheaper, lighter, and easier to source — especially for small businesses. But we chose glass for our products for a reason.
Glass is infinitely recyclable, non-leaching, and better at preserving the integrity of our formulas. It reflects our commitment to creating products that are not only effective, but made with long-term impact in mind.
It’s a more costly choice — but one we believe is worth it.
Mailers
Our mailers are 100% compostable — and yes, we think that’s pretty cool.
Made from 25% renewable materials like cornstarch and 75% from PBAT (a synthetic polymer engineered to biodegrade), they’re designed to break down naturally without leaving harmful residue behind.
It’s packaging that protects your order and the planet — no plastic, no waste, just thoughtful design from the inside out.
Labels
Our product labels are made from recycled paper and printed with environmentally conscious materials.
Once you've finished the product, the labels can be recycled along with the glass bottle — no need to peel them off or separate components.
It's a small step, but part of our larger commitment to minimizing waste wherever we can.
